“Raphael Saadiq came to one of my sample sales after being referred by a friend. He gave me a copy of his first solo album,
'Instant Vintage,' and asked me to design gold necklaces that had a 1970s feel.
I used a dinosaur fossil and created an abstract swirl design that felt like something you would find in a thrift shop.”
